Statutory warranties

Atlantiq Box applies — without derogation — the statutory warranties from EU consumer law and the French Civil Code.

Art. L217-3 — Consumer Code

Statutory conformity warranty

The good must conform to its expected use and to the description sold. Any defect appearing within 2 years of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery.

Durée : 2 years EU consumers

Art. 1641 — French Civil Code

Hidden defects warranty

Any pre-existing, non-apparent defect rendering the good unfit for its intended use entitles the buyer to a refund or price reduction.

Commercial extensions per product family.

Beyond statutory warranties, Atlantiq Box may offer specific commercial coverage. The exact terms appear on each product page and are confirmed in your quote.

Shipping containers

12 months

On structural defects (corrosion, watertightness). Extendable depending on manufacturer.

New modified containers

5 years

On modifications performed (insulation, electrical, plumbing). 12 months on structure.

Mobile homes EN 1647

24 months

Manufacturer warranty + Atlantiq Box after-sales monitoring. EN 1647 compliance ensured at delivery.

How to claim

Four steps. No more.

A defect covered by warranty? Here's the standard procedure, from observation to resolution.

    Document

    The defect, in pictures.

    Take 3 to 5 photos of the defect from different angles, note the context (date observed, usage conditions). Have your order number or quote ULID ready.

    A visual record and an order number.

    Étape 02 5 min

    Submit

    Within 30 days of observation.

    Submit your claim via the after-sales form or by email to contact@atlantiqbox.com with photos + order number. An acknowledgement arrives within 1 business day.

    A numbered after-sales case opened.

    Étape 03 5 business days

    Diagnosis

    Technical assessment.

    Our technical team reviews the case — remotely for simple matters, on-site for structural cases. We confirm within 5 business days whether the defect is covered.

    A technical opinion with cost estimate.

  4. 04
    Étape 04 Variable

    Resolution

    Repair, replacement or refund.

    Depending on the defect and applicable warranty: on-site repair, standard exchange, or full/partial refund. Timing is quoted as soon as the diagnosis is confirmed.
