1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit (preferred language, shopping cart, login session, etc.) or to collect technical data (usage statistics, preferences).
This policy also applies to similar tracking technologies (web beacons, tracking pixels, identifiers stored in browser localStorage).
2. Applicable legal framework
Our cookie policy complies with:
- the amended ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, transposed into article 82 of the French Data Protection Act;
- the GDPR (EU 2016/679);
- the CNIL recommendations of 17 September 2020 relating to cookies and other trackers.
In particular, prior user consent is mandatory for any cookie not strictly necessary for the operation of the service.
3. Cookie categories
3.1 Strictly necessary cookies (no consent)
These cookies are essential for the operation of the site. They cannot be disabled without preventing normal use of the service. In accordance with article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, they are exempt from the prior consent requirement.
3.2 Audience measurement cookies (consent required, anonymisation possible)
Atlantiq Box currently uses no audience measurement cookies. Should we decide to deploy them, we would prefer privacy-friendly tools (e.g. Plausible, Matomo in anonymised mode) benefiting from the CNIL exemption for strictly limited audience measurement.
3.3 Functional cookies (consent required)
Atlantiq Box uses no optional functional cookies to date.
3.4 Advertising and profiling cookies (explicit consent required)
Atlantiq Box uses no advertising, retargeting, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. We undertake not to deploy them without a prior update of this policy and an explicit collection of your consent.

5. Third-party payment cookies
When you proceed to payment via Stripe, these providers may set their own cookies on your device to ensure transaction security (anti-fraud, 3D Secure). These cookies are governed by their respective policies:
6. Respect for the "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal
Atlantiq Box respects the "Do Not Track" signal sent by your browser. If you enable this option (usually available in your browser’s advanced settings), the cookie management banner is not displayed and only strictly necessary cookies are set without any solicitation.
7. Managing your preferences
7.1 Consent banner
On your first visit, a consent banner is displayed. You may change your choice at any time by resetting cookies via your browser settings (section below).
7.2 Configuration via your browser
You may configure cookie placement, or delete cookies entirely, via your browser settings:
Caution: deleting or blocking strictly necessary cookies (session, cart, CSRF) will cause the site to malfunction. You will no longer be able to place an order, sign in to your account or access your cart.
8. Minors
The site is not intended for persons under 16. No cookie is knowingly placed on the device of a minor under 16 without parental consent, in accordance with article 8 of the GDPR.
9. Amendments to the policy
This cookie policy may be amended to reflect changes in our service or in regulations. Any substantive change triggers redisplay of the consent banner.
10. Going further
