Can I order a container online without requesting a quote?

No. Shipping containers, bungalows and mobile homes always go through a personalised quote priced within 24 h by a dedicated salesperson. Only accessories (locks, seals, spare parts) can be purchased directly with immediate payment.

How long does it take to receive a quote?

Within 24 business hours. Our salesperson reviews your case, checks depot availability, calculates the exact VAT for your country, and proposes a firm quote valid for 14 days.

Do you sell second-hand containers or only new ones?

Both. Our catalogue offers New (One Trip), Cargo Worthy (CW, retired from fleet but watertight and CSC-valid), and Wind & Water Tight (WWT, sound structure without CSC certification). The grade is stated on each product page.

How do I configure a custom-modified container?

Contact us with your specifications (dimensions, equipment, site constraints). Our engineering team draws up the CAD plans and prices the project. Study lead time: 2 to 5 business days. Production lead time: 4 to 12 weeks depending on complexity.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Two methods: credit card (Stripe, immediate secure payment with 3D Secure) and bank transfer confirmed via a secure signed link sent by email. For B2B orders, we accept staged deposits subject to review.

How does bank transfer payment work?

You receive an email with a signed link displaying our bank details (IBAN, BIC, reference) and a button "I have made the transfer". Our team manually confirms the receipt on the account (typically within 2 to 3 business days) and unlocks the order.

Can I split a large order into multiple payments?

Yes, for B2B orders above €5,000. Our salesperson can offer a payment schedule (30% deposit on order, balance at delivery, or 30/30/40 on long orders). To be discussed at quote stage.

Do you ship to the UK after Brexit?

Yes. UK orders are handled with the appropriate customs formalities: a UK EORI is required on the recipient side for B2B, UK VAT applies according to the thresholds in force, and we manage the import declaration if you choose the DDP incoterm.

Can I pick up my container directly from a depot?

Yes, that's the EXW incoterm: you (or your carrier) collect the goods from the indicated depot, by appointment. The option is available for most of our owned and partner depots, depending on the product and availability.

What does the DDP incoterm cover exactly?

DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) includes all costs: goods, transport to your site, import customs duties, and destination VAT. You receive the order with nothing more to pay. It's the recommended option for UK, Switzerland and non-EU export clients who want one all-inclusive price.

How long between order and delivery for an in-stock container?

For a container in depot stock, count 5 to 10 business days from the issued purchase order: 1 to 3 days of carrier mobilisation + 2 to 7 days of transport depending on distance. The exact lead time appears on your quote.

How do I activate the warranty on a defect of a delivered product?

Document the defect (3 to 5 photos from different angles, usage context), then submit your case via the after-sales form or by email to contact@atlantiqbox.com with your order number. Acknowledgement within 1 business day, technical diagnosis within 5 business days.

What is the warranty duration on a new modified container?

Atlantiq Box commercial warranty: 5 years on the modifications performed (insulation, electrical, plumbing, joinery) + 12 months on the structure. The European statutory conformity warranty (2 years, EU consumers) is added to — never replaces — the commercial warranty.

Do I need to create an account to place an order?

No, not necessarily. You can browse the catalogue and request a quote without an account. However, creating an account lets you find your quotes, orders and invoices, track your after-sales requests, and reuse your delivery addresses.

How do I retrieve my old quotes or invoices?

Sign in to your account area (My account → My quotes or My invoices). All your quotes and invoices are archived and downloadable as PDF. If you didn't create an account at order time, contact us — we can resend them by email.
