The DRY designation, when applied to a 40 ft used DRY watertight container (Class A / last voyage), refers to a shipping container of standard height. With an internal headroom of 2.39 m, it offers enough space for the majority of storage needs. Unlike a High Cube, it does not provide additional height, which makes it easier to transport and handle. These elements remain superficial and do not affect its capabilities. Yes, every 40 ft used watertight shipping container is checked before being put on sale. A complete technical inspection is carried out to verify its overall condition and its ability to be used immediately. This inspection covers in particular watertightness, structure (no perforations, corrosion level, stability), flooring and the proper operation of the doors and locking systems.
